Founded and managed by clinical specialists, Healthworks has one mission:
Improve patient-centered care in the cardiovascular and imaging industries.
How do we accomplish this?
Through the provision of expert technical and clinical personnel and specialized clinical education.
Delivered through a variety of channels, it is our singular subject matter focus and expertise that offers customers cost-effective staffing, targeted education and quality management programs that both create and support improved patient care environments.
Healthworks has been offering its expertise in the areas of invasive and non-invasive cardiology, electrophysiology and specialty nursing since 1997. Headquartered in southeast Pennsylvania, with a new Vero Beach office to serve Florida customers, our private practice of clinical specialists offers hospitals, physician groups and industry suppliers the most dynamic approach to contingent staff in the healthcare marketplace.

President & CEO
As an experienced clinician in both invasive and non-invasive settings, Sandi founded Healtworks as a private practice for technical and nursing staff because she knew there had to be a better way. Her passion for excellence in cardiovascular care is unmatched, and while she is too busy running the company to work at any of our customer sites any longer, she is committed to making sure our folks are best-in-class, carrying on the company's tradition of patient-centric care. Proud of her Italian heritage, don't ever challenge Sandi to a homemade spaghetti sauce competition - we know you'll lose.
Jacqueline Kudoba, RN
Vice President of Clinical Operations
Jackie is the crucial link between our clients and our staff, forever juggling the team schedule to keep things running smoothly - day in and day out. Her unique ability to match clinicians to customer sites is uncanny, and her contagious sense of humor helps keep things in perspective. Always on the lookout for top-notch staff, Jackie enjoys her grandchildren, bowling and hot summer days in July and August.
Vice President of Finance
Because the bills keep coming in, Joe keeps coming in to make sure the company's finances are smoothly flowing in both directions. His ability to juggle A/R, A/P and negotiate a better deal is unmatched - a skill he learned while running a bustling food and drink establishment. As a father of two young ones, Joe never seems to get the requisite amount of food or sleep.
Jeffrey Stiffler, AST, BS, CCDS, CEPS
Vice President, Electrophysiology Division
We don't know how he does it, but, Jeff possesses the magic to keep EP students awake when teaching them things like "junction box configuration" and "neuro-cardiogenic syncope indications." Since he's credentialed in every known way when it comes to electrophysiology, Jeff rarely sees the world outside of an EP lab. When he does manage to break free, he can be found drag racing his RV to and from dog agility competitions up and down the eastern seaboard.
Doreen Bearden, BSN, RN, MBA-HA
Vice President, Consulting & Client Solutions
With more than 25 years of patient care, delivering clinical instruction, managing invasive cardiology environments and overseeing quality initiatives at some of Philadelphia’s leading hospitals, Doreen truly knows the ins and outs of a cardiac cath lab. At Healthworks, Doreen spearheads the clinical education and professional development efforts, and works with our hospital customers to make sure they have the best-trained invasive staff. Having reduced her commute time by 60%, Doreen now spends more time gardening and reading sci-fi novels.
Director of Non-Invasive Operations
Justin is the customer bridge to our growing non-invasive team. When he's not juggling scheduling requests, he always makes sure the copier is working and that the phones are answered. As a father of three, Justin is always running around town for his kids and their various engagements.
Debra McCoy, SHRM-CP, PHR
Director of Human Resources
From background checks to OSHA competencies, Debbie ensures all our clinical staff is ready to go when they arrive at customer sites. She spearheads the annual insurance renewals, and finds time to hold a role on the Greater Pottstown Society of HR Management Chapter board of directors. Debbie enjoys visiting her grandson in Indiana whenever possible, and antiquing in the Pennsylvania countryside.
Director of Information Technology
Thanks to Zach, things like computers and the internet just work when we go to use them. As our web developer, he does much more than simply write code, handling things like our network, editing and prepping all our online course ware before streaming it on the web, and more.
Lindsey Spangler, CCT
Finance Associate/Clinical Specialist
Sometime after her stress tech studies, Lindsey found that she was just as good with numbers as she was at tilt table testing. Therefore, Lindsey makes sure payroll, time sheets and supplier bills get out the door on time - in between seeing patients at our non-invasive client locations. Her favorite activities include shuttling her children to more baseball and soccer games than imaginable and running Turkey Trots.
